Dark, hand-peeled aspen logs give this bed extreme character that showcases the natural twists, knots, warps and burls that occur in aspen wood. A built-in bench at the footboard makes for dual functionality and an overall one-of-a-kind log bed.
Each Aspen Estate bed is built to order with many possibilities for customization. Standard bed construction includes a corral-style frame with double log rails, but an optional slat system with single rails is available for extra mattress support. To personalize the look of the bed, there are four log diameters to choose from, starting with 4-6” petite logs and going all the way up to massive 13-15” logs perfect for the master bedroom in a cabin or lodge. An upgrade to “gnarly” aspen logs offers the most extreme look with natural touches like elk chew and beetle tracks. The bench seat may also be customized with a choice of wood or one of three different types of leather. All together, these options make for a unique piece of cabin décor that is beautiful enough to be considered a work of art.
